IECA ran the Spring Fair in February 2024

IECA ran the Spring Fair in February 2024, and it attracted more than 8000 students and parents in two days.  The Fair was successful and productive.  All agents and international schools were satisfied.  IECA will continue running the fair in the Fall fair in 2024.

IECA also participated in the British Council East and Southeast Asia conference in Kuala Lumpur in February 2024.  The new event attracts key agents promoting higher education in the U.K., and how the British Council helps and supports agents and associations working closer with UK higher institutions.  Danny Chang and three other representatives participated in this event.

Danny Chang and other 12 agent members attended the Language Canada Inbound Trade Mission & Fam Tour from the 06th to the 12th of April in Victoria and Vancouver.  This Fam tour was working with Korean and Taiwanese education agencies. The Canadian schools were from language schools, and secondary schools to higher education.  Canada is the third largest study travel destination for Taiwanese students. Key agents worked with those schools for further cooperation.

IECA and CTOT (Canadian Trade Office in Taipei) organize a Virtual Education Information Session. The visa officer of the Canadian Visa Office in Manila shared the information to note about Canada’s study visa and answer the questions from IECA members.

IECA is expecting to increase agencies to 130 plus in June, 2024.
